Position Title: Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 12–18 months, with potential for extension
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
Compensation: $60-$75 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team at a leading hospital. This role entails managing the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of IT-related tasks across various projects, particularly focusing on new and upgraded builds for our Research Division. The successful candidate will act as the primary contact for IT activities on assigned projects, ensuring smooth collaboration across multiple IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all phases of the project lifecycle: Initiation, Planning & Organization, Design (Schematic and Detail), Implementation, and Closure.
- Create and manage detailed project schedules, aligning resources and reporting on milestones.
- Manage resource plan changes, proactively addressing impacts on project schedules.
- Identify, track, and resolve project issues and risks, maintaining ongoing communication with key IT stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project budgets, including forecasting IT resources.
- Maintain high-level project status within the IT PMO project portfolio and provide bi-weekly status updates.
- Ensure compliance with IT infrastructure requirements, organize work plans, oversee implementation, and ensure accurate project code charging.
- Collaborate with the IT Project Coordinator for procurement, tracking, and delivery of IT products and services.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of IT project management experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within a hospital.
- Experience in vendor and financial management.
- Previous experience in IT Facilities Planning, Design, and Construction.
- Proven ability to manage and drive all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
